Rotate (Horizon project financed by the European Commission) aims to provide environmental solutions that will facilitate the generation of synergies between diverse industrial sectors related to mining and quarrying. Within this framework, ANEFA, the leader of the project, together with AFAPA (ANEFA in Asturias), have organized in Oviedo, Asturias (Spain), a conference entitled: The circularity of construction products in the Principality of Asturias: from CDW to recycled aggregates, in the auditorium of the EASMU, at the headquarters of the regional Department of Ecological Transition, Industry and Economic Development of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, Spain.
The event was a great success, with more than 120 people, and was attended by María Nieves Roqueñí, Councillor of the Regional Ministry of Ecological Transition, Industry and Economic Development; César Luaces, General Director of ANEFA; Rita Martínez Andía, Head of Circular Economy and Business Services of ANEFA; María Belarmina Díaz Aguado, Director General of Energy and Mining; Aitor Sáez de Kortazar Jungitu, from Ihobe, the Basque Government’s Public Company for Environmental Management; Paz Orviz Ibáñez, Manager of Cogersa; María del Carmen Lastra del Prado, Head of Studies and Road Safety; Pablo Luis Álvarez Cabrero, Director General of Environmental Quality; María del Carmen Lastra del Prado, Head of Studies and Road Safety; Pablo Luis Álvarez Cabrero, Director General of Environmental Quality; María del Carmen Lastra del Prado, Head of Environmental Management of the Basque Government; and Pablo Luis Álvarez Cabrero, Director General of Environmental Quality of the Basque Government.
Afterwards, there was a round table with Vanesa Mateo Pérez; Director General of Water, Ministry of Ecological Transition, Industry and Economic Development, Juan Ordieres Muñiz, Vice-President of the Asturian Construction Confederation (CAC-Asprocon) and President of Cluster Ecco – Circular Economy & Construction 0 Emissions, César Luaces and Rita Martínez. The event was closed by Miguel Alonso Pérez, president of AFAPA, along with Pablo Luis Álvarez Cabrero.
