The XV International Mining Congress, organized by the Spanish Consejo Superior de Colegios de Ingenieros de Minas (Higher Council of Colleges of Mining Engineering) and the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Minas del Centro de España (Official Association of Mining Engineers of Central Spain) and held at the Palacio de Congresos of the Spanish city of León was a success. It brought together more than 400 professionals from 150 companies and institutions, students, and technicians from the sector.

Rotate was very much present in this important event with a specific stand and an important presence at several round tables, sessions, and expositions. Lorena Viladés, one of the members of our coordination team, introduced Rotate to the audience and presented the Consortium, the general aspects of the project, its goals, and its impact on the quarrying industry with a presentation titled: Aggregates and raw materials, circularity.

She also took part in a clustering event organized by the Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster along with other EU-funded projects such as: S34I, MaDiTraCe , C-SINK Project, RESiLEX, ECHO, TARANTULA, DigiEcoQuarry, START, SEMACRET, RAWMINA.
